Fundraising
The biggest fundraiser we have is coming May 25th: The annual Taste Test!
Invite your friends to have fun sampling free chips and help out the troop at the same time.
Ages 13 to 65 can participate as long as they meet these simple requirements. If you are 13 to 17 years old you need a signed Parental Permission Form. The permission form also details common ingredients for those of you that might have food allergies. There is a FAQ document that you can use during recruiting to answer questions as well as a recruiting script.
The taste test will be conducted in the W.C. Martin UMC soul food kitchen. See the About troop page for a map to the church.
DFW Product Research needs an orderly flow of visitors throughout the day. One of our jobs is to schedule our volunteer's arrival times. Below is a table of our target and current headcounts per timeslot. Use this information in your recruiting.
